Moto-Hakone Guest House offers bright Japanese-style rooms, free WiFi and free-use yukata robes. Situated a 10-minute walk from Lake Ashinoko with a great view of Mount Fuji, while Hakone Shrine is a 15-minute walk away. Oshiba Bus Stop is a 1-minute walk away from the property. This guesthouse is listed in Michelin Green Guide. Private rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, a low table with seating cushions and an LCD TV. Guests sleep in traditional futon bedding on the floor. All rooms are fitted with air-conditioning and heating facilities, while toilets and bathrooms are shared. No meals are served, but guests are allowed to bring food and drinks from outside. The Moto-Hakone Guest House is a 15-minute bus ride from the Yunessun hot spring spa resort. By public bus it takes 30 minutes to Hakone-Yumoto Train Station, and 50 minutes to JR Odawara Station.
